Roles & Responsibilities 

Reporting to the Engineering Manager of our CTS department, this 4-month position will build on your experience as you become the lead individual for our AutoCAD services, while working on projects for our Clients across North America. Duties include production and supervision of drawings, tracking of drawing revisions, ensuring the accuracy and on time preparation of process drawings, and generating data sheets for equipment to be issues for various tenders, projects and client requirements. You will also have a chance to work closely with our senior project team members, to obtain the needed technical input for the preparation of final drawings.


Skills required:

  1. A recent college or university degree, or current enrollment in a co-op program, that includes extensive training courses in computer-aided drafting and in generating AutoCAD or TurboCAD drawings, preferably in the mechanical design field.
  2. Solid knowledge of drawing software applications and very high computational literacy.
  3. Experience in production of drawings including 2D, 3D, and isometric formats, such as PFD, P&ID, fabrication and instrument hook-up drawings
  4. Demonstrated ability to work efficiently and accurately in a team environment
  5. Knowledge and understanding of water treatment and in air pollution treatment equipment is an asset

Roles & Responsibilities

Reporting to our Manager of Site Investigation and Remediation, this key position holds senior responsibility for developing and leading our geotechnical services business area, for clients across Ontario. Responsibilities also include senior project consulting, client relationship management, and business development.


  • Provide senior technical direction, project oversite, and coaching of technical staff, and
  • Manage and participate on large to medium-sized projects, including having responsibility for senior project input, client interface, regulatory liaison, subcontracting, project team assignments, resource scheduling, project completion and reporting as required.

Client Relationship Management and Business Development

  • Grow the geotechnical services capabilities and revenues, leveraging your extensive network of contacts and new potential clients;
  • Manage the long-term relationships with current and future clients;
  • Respond to reactive project opportunities with new and existing clients, and
  • Attend and present at relevant conferences and write/publish articles, to help elevate the corporate profile in the geotechnical services market.

Skills required:

  1. At least ten (1o) years of experience in geo-technical engineering/consulting;
  2. A university degree in Geology, Earth Sciences, and/or Engineering.
  3. Demonstrated, successful Project Management skills, team leadership, business acumen & decision-making abilities.
  4. Superlative communication skills and excellent command of the English language, both verbal & written.
  5. Proven business development and client relationship skills.
  6. A willingness for moderate travel, in and around south-central Ontario.
